Regional Community Development Conference & Community North West AGM

30/04/2008 - 10:30
30/04/2008 - 17:00
Venue:

Ditton Community Centre, Dundalk Road, Halton, WA8 8DF

“The Grit in the Oyster”

Community Development is a key part of the Government’s “participation agenda”, but how far paid CD workers can go in supporting community action, what skills they need and who should manage teams in the field, can all be contentious issues.

This special one-day mini conference will be of interest to Community Development workers employed by statutory bodies - LAs, PCT, Regeneration Boards - as well as those concerned with CD training, skills and managing workers.

Details of workshops and how to book are on the
CNW website or available from Hilda Reidy, Administrator, on info@communitynw.org.uk
