CDX deeply saddened by failure of OCS Strategic Partners funding bid

CDX are deeply disappointed and saddened to hear that we have not been successful in our bid for Strategic Partners funding from the Office for Civil Society (OCS). Previous OCS funding amounted to 87% of CDX funding, meaning that CDX will have to dramatically reconsider our position and future direction.
We are concerned that organisations such as CDX and TimeBank - ideally placed to deliver and advise on the Big Society agenda - find ourselves struggling in the current funding environment.
CDX are determined to continue our essential work. We will continue our support and commitment to the development of the Our Society network and explore alternative funding avenues.

“With a 30 year track record in supporting civil society, CDX cannot be allowed to disappear; we will be exploring all channels to ensure our continuing support for community workers and will continue our commitment to help build ‘Our Society’ as an authentic expression of grassroots concerns”.
