Travel to India with IACD and the Centre for Social Response to build your understanding of community development and its role in creating change
The International Association for Community Development (IACD) is organising a study visit programme to India in November 2010, led by Ingrid Burkett, IACD President and Mini Bedi, IACD Vice-President.
CDX Members can receive a £300 discount on the 3-week study visit if the register before 24 September 2010.
Participants will travel together with local program partners to experience first-hand how economically poor and marginalised people are organising themselves to overcome poverty and injustice. The focus will on building a deep understanding of the role of participation and dialogue in community development and change processes.
