How will an economic slowdown affect the VCS and how will your organisation respond?

22/07/2008 - 14:30
22/07/2008 - 17:00
Venue:

NCVO, London

Peter Hahn (Fellow, Cass Business School) and Keith Hickey (Chief Executive, Charity Finance Directors’ Group) will stimulate a discussion on the implications of a tighter economic climate for VCOs. How will your organisation be affected by this? What could your organisation do to prepare for any shifts in the economy

  • Peter Hahn will give an overview of some of the key trends currently affecting the UK economy, exploring where these might go in future.
  • Keith Hickey will explore central implications of the current economic climate for the VCS and propose some strategic responses to deal with these.

The focus of the seminar will be on small group discussions during which you will have a chance to explore implications and practical responses for your organisation
