A partnership opportunity with the Sustainable Funding Project at NCVO

Over the past decade, the Sustainable Funding Project (SFP) has worked with infrastructure across England to support frontline voluntary and community sector organisations (VCOs) to explore a more sustainable approach to funding.

The Beacons programme seeks to strengthen this relationship through strategic collaboration, to benefit both infrastructure organisations and the communities they serve.

The aims of the programme are to equip selected infrastructure organisations with the skills, knowledge and resources to embed the sustainable income approach amongst frontline VCOs in their area and to enable them to take a more strategic approach.

The benefits include:

  • Beacons can access up to £7,000 to develop new materials and training
  • They will be recognised as a specialist provider of high quality services relating to sustainable funding, with endorsement from SFP
  • Beacons will be supported to increase their own potential to generate income
  • They will gain an increased range of resources on sustainable funding
