About the initiative
Every Action Counts is about helping community groups make more environmentally friendly choices. It supports groups to make small everyday actions which help create a greener, fairer and safer community. The programme is focusing on five key themes: save our resources, shop ethically, save energy, travel wisely and care for your area.

Why are CDX involved?
CDX is part of the consortium running Every Action Counts for Defra. CDX are involved in this programme so that we can play an influential role in determining government policy around climate change and the sustainable development agenda while making a case for community development approaches to tackling these issues. As part of our commitment to EAC, and in an effort to cut down on the environmental impact of our organisation, we have devised a sustainable development action plan for CDX.

What is the third sector declaration?
The Declaration is intended as a statement of intent from Third Sector organisations to tackle the issue of climate change by taking action in our organisations and in our communities - find out more at: www.everyactioncounts.org.uk/declaration
