Getting to grips with the coalition government - FREE seminar
Urban Forum invites members to a FREE half-day session to help them understand the implications of the new government's policies and approach.
There will be analysis and practical advice from Urban Forum Chief Executive, Toby Blume, on what's coming and where the opportunities lie. There will be a chance to discuss the practical implications of these plans and help inform our policy development work with the new government.
The session will cover:
- Government priorities and its legislative programme
- ‘Big Society' and the government's approach to working with voluntary and community groups
- What the Emergency Budget means for spending plans and cuts
