What is the future of Community Development in Wales and how can we work together to realise the potential?

An opportunity to contribute your views, hear from others and help shape how community development goes forward in Wales.

This conference will include:

A panel of four key speakers will present a range of perspectives on community development and its future in Wales.

Workshops on a range of current topics:

• Getting community development practitioner’s voice heard – what more can be done?

• Proving community development works

• Help! What community development support and training do you (or others) need/want?

• Inspiring community development stories from the field

• Dealing with bullying in the workplace

• Getting our foot further through the door – influencing policy

• Improving/developing relationships with Local Authorities

• National Occupational Standards – Reviewing and making the most of them in Wales

Plenary session and CDC AGM:

• Key issues from the workshops
