Communities in control?

Exploring the Empowerment White Paper – a community development practice perspective.

These events are aimed at community development practitioners, managers and others who take a community development approach to their work with communities. The events will provide:

• an up to date outline of proposals included in Communities in Control

• an opportunity to examine the likely impact of the White Paper on your practice and on the lives of the communities you work with

• an opportunity to feed in your practice-based expertise to CDX’s responses to the Government’s ‘empowerment agenda’

Attending the event will give participants an opportunity to:

• share experience about how policy is being played out in practice

• feel more informed and prepared for policy changes

• build supportive alliances

• help build a stronger voice for community development

Event cost: Free for CDX members / £35 for non-members
