Nick Beddow

Nick Beddow, Chief Executive Officer

Nick joined CDX in April 2010 having been involved in CD for over 30 years as a community activist and as a worker in voluntary sector projects.  For the past 22 years Nick worked as a Community Development Worker in a local authority, and from 2002 was Team Leader of Stockport Council CD team. He is committed to building a strong movement for CD which brings together everyone who wants to put communities at the heart of social change.

Emma joined CDX in May 2010. She has worked in Community Development for over 10 years spending most of this time working at Mansfield District Council.

Sarah has been involved in community development over the past 15 years as a trainer, manager, advisor and community activist. For the past 5 years Sarah has worked at Croydon Voluntary Action and is the Community Development Manager.

Steve is the General Manager of Gleadless Valley Community Forum, a south Sheffield regeneration charity. Originally from Coventry, Steve has a background in accountancy, local government and education. He began working in the charity sector in 1998 with London based children's project Hackney Quest before moving North in 2002.
